How do I return goods?
At My Bookish Shop, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If you experience any issues with your order, please follow the steps below for returns.
1. Contact Us First
Before returning any items, please email us at mybookish.shop@gmail.com with:
- Your order number
- A detailed description of the issue
- Photos of the item showing any damage or defects
This will help us resolve your concern quickly and provide you with the necessary next steps.
2. Return Address
All returns (based on where your package was fulfilled) should be addressed to:

3. Key Return Guidelines

Defective or Damaged Items: If your item arrives defective, damaged, or misprinted, you must submit a claim within 30 days of receiving the product.

Lost Packages:

If your package is lost in transit, you can submit a claim within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, and we’ll cover the costs of reprinting and shipping a replacement order for you.

However, we may need your help confirming that the shipping address provided was correct. We also recommend checking with the shipping carrier to see if they can locate the lost package.

Important: If the tracking information shows the order as "Delivered," but you haven’t received it, we unfortunately cannot take responsibility for the missing package. In such cases, any replacements or reorders will be at your expense

- Incorrect Addresses: If the shipping address provided is incorrect or incomplete, the package will be returned to the address above. Reshipping costs will be at your expense.
4. Non-Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of certain items, including:
- Sealed goods that were opened after delivery (e.g., face masks)
- Personalized or custom-made items
5. Refunds and Exchanges
- We do not provide refunds for buyer’s change of mind.
- For size exchanges, a new order must be placed at your expense.
- If the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., misprint or defect), the return shipping cost and replacement will be covered by us.
6. EU Consumer Rights
According to Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized
- Sealed goods unsealed after delivery, for health protection or hygiene reasons
